Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quotation, making a booking, submitting payment, or selecting the acceptance checkbox on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Health and Safety Requirements
COVID-19 and General Health Protocols
To ensure the safety of our clients and instructors:
• A face mask may be required when instructed by management.
• Clients are encouraged to carry and use personal hand sanitizer.
• Clients who are feeling unwell should not attend lessons or appointments.
• Cancellations due to illness must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
• The Driving School reserves the right to refuse service where health and safety may be compromised.

3. Bookings for Learner’s and Driver’s Licences
Client Responsibilities
• Clients must submit all required information and documentation before the booking deadline.
• A certified copy of an ID document (for Learner’s Licence bookings) or a certified copy of a Learner’s Licence (for Driver’s Licence bookings) must be submitted via WhatsApp or email.
• Once a booking has been secured, the client must confirm the booking with the Licensing Department within three (3) working days.
Important
Failure to confirm a booking within the prescribed period may result in:
• Expiration of the booking; and
• Forfeiture of booking fees paid.
The Driving School cannot guarantee availability of booking dates or times at Government Licensing Departments.

4. Payments
• Full payment must be received before any lesson, booking, test vehicle hire, or service can be scheduled.
• Payments may be made via EFT, online payment platforms, cash deposit, or other approved payment methods.
• Vehicle hire for driving tests must be paid at least seven (7) days before the test date.
• Government fees are separate and payable directly to the relevant licensing authority unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Missed Appointments
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation or rescheduling request must be made:
 
Online via our website:
• Cancellations must be made at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled service or appointment date. 
• New bookings must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled service or appointment date.
For Monday appointments, cancellations must be submitted by 12:00 noon on Saturday.
Late Cancellations
Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in:
• Loss of the lesson or service; or
• Full payment being charged.
Medical Emergencies
Where illness prevents attendance:
• A valid medical certificate may be required.
• The Driving School reserves the right to charge up to 50% of the lesson or service fee.

6. Validity of Purchased Services
All prepaid lessons and services must be used within:
• Two (2) months from the date of payment for Learner’s Licence services; and
• Four (4) months from the date of payment for Driver’s Licence services.
Unused lessons or services after the applicable validity period may be forfeited unless otherwise approved in writing by management.

7. Punctuality
Client Arrival
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit the lesson or service.
The instructor may leave the collection point after reasonable attempts have been made to contact the client.
Collection and Drop-Off Addresses
Any changes to collection or drop-off addresses must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Additional charges may apply where:
• The new location exceeds the agreed service area; or
• The distance exceeds 5 km from the original address.

8. Behaviour and Conduct
The Driving School maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards:
• Verbal abuse
• Threats
• Harassment
• Intimidation
• Physical violence
This applies to clients and anyone acting on their behalf, including family members, spouses, or friends.
The Driving School reserves the right to:
• Terminate services immediately;
• Refuse future services;
• Retain fees already paid; and
• Pursue legal action where necessary.

9. Refusal of Service
The Driving School reserves the right to refuse service where a client:
• Appears intoxicated;
• Is under the influence of drugs;
• Behaves aggressively;
• Presents a safety risk; or
• Fails to comply with Driving School policies.
In such cases, the scheduled lesson or service will be charged in full.

10. Use of Vehicles
Driving School Vehicles
The Driving School reserves the right to change vehicles or instructors where necessary due to:
• Mechanical breakdowns;
• Accidents;
• Staff availability;
• Operational requirements.
Client-Owned Vehicles
Clients may use their own vehicles subject to approval.
The Driving School accepts no responsibility for:
• Damage to the vehicle;
• Mechanical failures;
• Insurance claims; or
• Related losses.

11. Refund Policy
No Refunds
Bangani’z Driving School CC does not provide refunds for services paid for irrespective if they are booked or not booked.
Where possible:
• Lessons may be rescheduled; and
• Services may be rearranged within their applicable validity period.
Refunds will only be considered where required by law or where management determines that the Driving School is unable to provide the service purchased by the client.

12. Government Licensing Departments
The Driving School cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, system failures, strikes, power outages, long queues, or any other circumstances occurring at Government Licensing Departments.
The Driving School does not guarantee:
• Booking availability;
• Test dates;
• Test times;
• System functionality; or
• Government service delivery.
Additional trips to licensing departments may incur additional charges.

13. Test Readiness
Clients are expected to follow instructor recommendations regarding test readiness.
The Driving School cannot be held responsible for:
• Failed learner’s licence tests;
• Failed driver’s licence tests; or
• Delays caused by insufficient preparation.
Passing any test remains the responsibility of the client.

14. Liability
While all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure safety, the Driving School, its owners, employees, and instructors shall not be liable for:
• Personal injury;
• Loss or theft of property;
• Damage to vehicles;
• Missed appointments;
• Government administrative errors; or
• Any indirect or consequential loss.

15. Operating Hours
Normal operating hours are:
OFFICE HOURS
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 
• Friday: 08:00 – 14:00 
• Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
DRIVER TRAINING AND TEST TRIPS
• Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 18:00 
• Saturday: 06:00 – 15:30
 
The Driving School is generally closed on:
• Sundays;
• Public Holidays; and
• The last weekend of each month.
Services outside normal hours may attract additional charges.

16. Communication
Calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, and other communications received outside business hours may only be responded to during normal operating hours.
Clients are requested to respect the privacy and personal time of instructors and management.

17. Documentation Requirements
Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that they have all required documents, including:
• Identity documents;
• Learner’s licences;
• Proof of residence;
• Photographs;
• Government receipts;
• Test booking confirmations; and
• Any other documents required by licensing authorities.
Failure to provide the correct documentation may result in loss of the appointment and associated fees.

18. Lessons and Progress
Learning ability differs between individuals.
The Driving School does not guarantee:
• A specific number of lessons;
• Test readiness within a fixed period;
• Test success; or
• A particular learning outcome.
Progress depends on factors including:
• Individual ability;
• Practice frequency;
• Confidence;
• Attitude; and
• Compliance with instructor guidance.

19. Special Conditions
• Driving tests take priority over standard lessons.
• Lesson schedules may be adjusted due to operational requirements.
• Services may be postponed due to unsafe weather, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• No person other than the client and instructor may travel in the training vehicle unless approved by management.

20. Agreement
By making payment, booking a service, attending lessons, or using any service offered by Bangani’z Driving School CC, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

21. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

22. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Bangani’z Driving School CC reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version shall be published on the company’s website and shall take effect immediately upon publication.
